Job Title: Finance Reporting Analyst

The main responsibility for this role is the production of information and analysis on all aspects of business development, capital expenditure and commercial performance to influence decision making.
The Accountabilities

* Support and challenge the development team to ensure robust new business proposals and evaluations are carried out
* Production of full P&L for new developments, with supporting cashflow
* Delivery of budgeting / forecasting and 3 year plans to business timelines
* Business development reporting and tracking, with post completion reviews
* Timely communication of risks and opportunities to financial targets concerning new business activity
* Control, accurate accounting and reporting of Capital Expenditure
* Ownership of all sales forecasting for the retail(stores) side of the business including ensuring accurate sales history and comprehensive forecasting
* Analysis and insight of store performance to identify trends, one-off issues, and future opportunities, so as to provide timely advice on risks and opportunities, and to ensure future forecasting is robust
* Adhoc analytical support to the trading teams covering promotions and sales opportunities

The Requirements for the Role

* Part-Qualified accountant – CIMA or ACCA or relevant analytical experience
* Planning / budgeting experience
* The ability to work with senior financial and non financial managers
* Able to communicate effectively with other areas of the organisation
* Self-managing, capable of planning and prioritising a broad and extensive range of activities
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring financial data is summarised in a logical and informative manner, appropriate to the given audience.
* Ability to prioritise conflicting demands
* Advanced Excel skills
