The Company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a large FTSE 250 Publishing and Media organisation. The international company prides itself on its success, reputation and staff retention. In a period of fast growth they are looking to recruit a talented HR assistant to join their expanding team.

The Role

This excellent HR opportunity will not only give you the opportunity to utilise your HR skills and experience but it will also give you the chance to learn from senior HR professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Basic HR administration
• Administrative support for staff performance
• Keeping up to date with UK employment legislation
• Liaising with line managers regarding the coordination of training needs
• Liaising with recruitment agencies where necessary
• First line support and advice for employees, responding in a timely manner.
• Working closely with the Payroll department and providing any assistance and basic HR advice

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be CPP qualified and working towards their CIPD qualification but this is by no means necessary. You will have at least a one years’ experience working within a HR team. You will also possess:

• Excellent oral and written skills
• Adaptable, flexible and the ability to prioritise work under pressure
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Confident relationship builder at all professional levels
• Initiative, motivation, and a ‘can do attitude’
