Our client is a long established transport company, where an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV mechanic/fitter to join their team.
As a HGV Mechanic/fitter, your duties will include maintenance & repair in their Darlington location.
To be considered for the role of HGV Mechanic/Fitter, you must have experience in a previous role; for example engine and gear box repairs, checking suspension, steering and air brakes, including repairing/changing parts as required, servicing and repairs to MOT
- Experience in the haulage industry would be preferred.
As you will be required to road test vehicles with trailers, the successful applicant MUST hold a full Class 1 HGV (C + E) driving license.
-Light commercial experience is not suitable for this role
