The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a great candidate looking for their first step into Retail Head Office. Reporting to the Merchandiser within the Trading Department, the main purpose of the role is to provide Administrative support within the Trading Category Teams to enable Buyers, Merchandisers & Distributors to focus on key Trading activities.
The Accountabilities
* Accurate of data input (system, paperwork – e.g. price changes)
* Action and answer store queries on behalf of the Trading team
* Placing orders and replenishment
* Managing Price changes in the system
* Updating item and location lists
* New line set up
* Daily liaison with external suppliers in regards to delivery dates and times
* Obtain internal and external information on behalf of the team
* Compiling and issuing reports on a daily and weekly basis as instructed by the team
* Carry out any additional Admin activities as required
The Requirements for the Role
* Previous experience within a retail envrironment
* Good interpersonal and numerical skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Strong team ethos and communication skills
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills – specifically Excel and Word
