| Description |
We are seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to support the Manufacturing Engineering team by the design, development and implementation of test procedures and equipment for the manufacturing process.
The role will also require writing of documentation for the equipment and will include the design and development of Lab test equipment for functional, abnormal and life test to be used by the R&D Department. This role will also involve specifying new test equipment with external test solution companies.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Provide turn key test solutions for existing and new product designs.
• Creation of Technical Support Documentation for each piece of equipment.
• Work with external test solution companies, specifying new equipment.
• Assessing pricing and competency of test solution tenders.
• Work with the design engineers to evaluate the test requirement for each product.
• Involvement with test solution projects from inception to completion (production hand over).
• Commissioning of test equipment into the manufacturing process.
• Specification and procurement of test equipment and parts.
• Design and construction of in-house test solutions.
• Involvement with automated testing and report generation process for R&D and manufacturing.
Skills will include: Circuit Design and Test, power electronics, LabView, control systems and working in a Production environment.
