| Description |
We are seeking an Electronics Project Manager to coordinate the whole product development process; managing the project from concept through to volume production including coordinating design activities, procurement and production operations and liaison with sales and customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Develop and maintain project plans and communicate these to key stakeholders
• Manage project timeline, risks and costs
• Take full ownership of project delivery and its deliverables
• Weekly and monthly project status reporting
• Manage the project development team activities
• Manage multiple projects, which may be at varying stages of development process
• Manage the product approvals for EMC, safety, regulatory
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Customer expectations management (both internal and external)
• Ensure quality and company guidelines and processes are adhered to
General
• Continual review of costs / pricing – identification of cost reduction opportunities.
• Understanding of electronics design and manufacturing and preferable if any experience of Power Electronics industry
• Management of multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, CAD and operations team members
• Awareness of safety and regulatory approval processes
• Excellent communication, presentation & organisational skills required to deal with fast moving nature of the product developments and board level stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Identify product development opportunities for Harvard and its customers
• Maintain a commercial focus and interest in product markets
• Assist the sales force to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• 5+ years experience of managing electronics product developments
• Experience of high volume manufacturing desirable
