Sous Chef modern British Brasserie London to £29k
Modern British high quality food for a Brasserie, functions and event catering and cafes.
Due to current refurbishment of the kitchen, we are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team and work with a Michelin starred Executive chef in a brigade of 30 chefs serving modern British for a Brasserie, bars, cafes and function rooms and working 7 shifts per week.
Very good working ambience in a buzzy atmosphere.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Sous Chef who is an enthusiastic person with a great personality. Committed and well presented who enjoys interaction with customers. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to work under pressure and be able to organize and assist the Manager at any time.
This is a hands on position and will suit someone who leads by example.
Required experience for the Sous Chef:
- Two year experience as a Sous Chef
- Hotel background advantageous
- Brasserie or Fine dining (Rosettes and Michelin) experience required
- Previous experience in GP, rota, health, hygiene and safety management
