Job Title: National Sales Manager (Enviromental Data)

National Sales Manager (Environmental Information/Data Systems)
Berkshire/Oxfordshire Based with regular national travel
Basic salary circa £30k per annum with OTE circa £54k plus car allowance, plus benefits

Our client is the UK market leader in site-related environmental risk management data, servicing national property & construction/development related sectors. They now seek the urgent appointment of a National Sales Manager to take charge of this small specialist sales team based in the above location and ensure that targets are met if not exceeded.

We only welcome applications at this time from individuals residing within a comfortable commuting distance from the offices (so ideally within the M4/M3 corridor).

A varied sales management role, a significant portion of time will be devoted to daily sales team management but you will also be expected to not only exercise a good level of strategic expertise (contributing to the creation of the sales plan and implementation as well as management of new business campaigns) but also play an active hands-on role in key-account management and development (regular national travel required accordingly for key client meetings along with attending various seminars, exhibtions and conferences as required).

In order to apply, you must meet the following credentials:-
• You will be graduate calibre (preferably with a relevant degree such as Surveying, Environmental Management, Engineering or Geographic)
• Have a minimum of 5-years sales team management experience within a similar corporate environment
• Some knowledge of mapping, environmental, property and planning information, CAD and GIS (highly desirable)
• Strong Key-account/development/national accounts experience
• A genuine interest and/or knowledge within the environmental risk/ management data arena (desirable)
• Reside within the stated catchment area (essential)
• Have completed professional sales/management training courses
• Ideally have sold similar information publishing/digital information/data and/or systems previously (regardless of sector) B2B
• Strong market analysis skills
