Our client is the UK market leader in site-related environmental risk management data, servicing national property & construction/development related sectors.
As part of their continued growth strategy, an experienced internal-account-manager is required to join the specialist environmental data division, targeted with maximizing sales revenues from both existing and new customers across a variety of products and market sectors. You will therefore be speaking to and targeting/building relationships with everything from large corporate, national and multinational organisations through to smaller specialist consultancy businesses.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and supporting a team of field based account-managers, you will be selling a range of online-information/data products and services, targeted to undertake and maintain a level of cold-prospect calls to an expansive database of businesses, plus trying to pick up and act on new business opportunities through cold-calling on occasions.
You will be expected to cross-sell and up-sell from within the product range, identifying opportunities to match the best solution to the client’s needs whilst meeting sales revenue targets. In addition to this, there will be certain account management and account-development responsibilities, the need to provide online demos/webinars and attend appropriate exhibitions, seminars and conferences from time to time.

• You will preferably be of graduate calibre, better still if you have a relevant degree (such as such as Surveying, Environmental Management, Engineering or Geographic)
• It is essential that you have a minimum of 1 - 2 years internal sales or account management experience, preferably (although not essential) within the property or Environmental business to business sectors
• You must reside within a 45 minute drive of the client’s offices based in Henley on Thames.
• And also have strong sales and negotiation skills, preferably backed up by some form of previous professional sales training.
Accompanied with the above, you will be conversant with the use of MS Office, be comfortable dealing at all levels and have excellent communication skills.
