Job Title: Logistics /Warehouse Team Leader
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, leading the stores/logistics team and heavily focused on meeting customer’s delivery expectations, you will have overall responsibility for implementing logistics procedures from goods in through to dispatch.
Ensuring the Logistics/Stores team deliver in conjunction with Supply Chain Management Operations and Assembly, specific responsibilities will include:

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Of managing the training, attendance and discipline of stores/logistics team
Ensuring deliveries to customers are dispatched correctly & on time
Organisation of transportation of all dispatches from HCR
Defining and implementing criteria for the stock policy for raw materials and finished goods
Customs clearance and documentation management
Hands on management and transfer handling of incoming goods process for all components, to achieve efficient flow of materials
Effective goods inward inspection (QC) – completion of documents
Warehouse management ensuring inventory accuracy, FIFO, Kanban, storage systems, document recording, data entry and working practices meet the needs and objectives of the business
Auditing kits for assembly and customer delivery.
Compliance with company wide QM systems and procedure
Carrying out various activities that come with a fast growing and entrepreneurial company.

The successful applicant will ideally:

Be qualified in a logistics or related business discipline with demonstrable experience of operations management gained within a warehouse / logistics / production environment
(have working knowledge of computerised warehouse systems)
Have a broad working knowledge of regulations / documentation for UK and international dispatch
must also have previous experience in using Fork lifts (current license holder preferred)
Be computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Have a strong methodical approach, keen eye for detail with the ability to work to and meet multiple deadlines
