Account Director required - London - Salary neg + Bonus

My client provides online sampling solutions and a leading SaaS platform for online data collection and insight delivery worldwide.

They have 5 offices worldwide, circa 200 staff. Since they set up the UK office 12 months ago they have grown the UK team to 11 staff.



Due to continued growth they are seeking an additional Account Director to join the London team. Initially a hunter role that will evolve into a hybrid role, mix of new business and account management.

They have over ten years of online panel building, sample framing experience and a global online panel of 5.7 million survey respondents.

This established individual should have consultative knowledge of the industry and proven track record of success. The person will be a proactive and organized individual which will sell against targeted goals through assigned territory and accounts. This person will need to deliver unparallel value to our clients through overseeing a client through the cycle of integrated operational processes and technology aimed at each client’s data collection needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* A desire to work for an entrepreneurial oriented company – a willingness to take initiative and action with limited direction
* Demonstrate the ability to help client problem solve and assist in MR questions and objectives
* Provide added value through increased sales and margin growth for the company
* Successful track record with solution/service selling
* Ability to drive activity and pipeline based on a specified territory to meet sales objective
* Effectively track sales cycle and territory information (e.g. contacts, follow-ups, leads, tests, closes, etc.)
* Self motivated individual who enjoys selling advantaged products and services
* Ability to work through operational process to ensure a streamlined communication
* Effectively identify the needs and type of sale needed for each account
* Maximizing the adoption and utilization of new products to clients


Desired Skills & Experience
* 5+ years sales experience with demonstrated success in growing and managing accounts.
* BA or BS degree, Masters preferred
* Willingness to travel
* 3+ years industry (market research or related information services) experience.
