Account Manager required - London - Salary neg + Bonus
My client is a leading provider of SAAS and panels for the research field.
In one word, my client is "innovative". In a time-span of three years, my client has established itself as a leader within the market research industry. They provide online panelists to take surveys for market research. With better geographic targeting, an innovative technology platform and the ability to recruit from anywhere in the world, my clients online survey panel is reliable and tested for data quality. Our company was founded on creating robust client technology, customer service excellence, and delivering quality online panel. My client has a global online panel of actively engaged panelists in six continents.
They have 5 offices worldwide, circa 200 staff. Since they set up the UK office 12 months ago they have grown the UK team to 11 staff.
Due to continued growth they are seeking an additional Account Manager to support the Senior sales team
Summary of Account Manager role:
The Account Manager´s primary responsibility is to assess the feasibility of any and all bid requests which are associated with the sales representative they are aligned with, while acting as a consultant to clients and continuously growing relations to promote the company’s development and awareness in the industry. The Account Manager ultimately determines which projects are a good fit, given the company’s strengths, while positioning the pricing of our product to make us competitive with other players in the industry.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Assesses feasibility and pricing; while considering the company’s panel strengths, and publisher/partner capabilities.
Coordinates with Panel Consultants and Sales Reps to arrive at the optimal feasibility.
Prepares and is responsible for all correspondence to clients in email and telephone regarding requests and any questions/concerns associated with a specific project, process, or related subject matter.
Records all bid opportunities, including but not limited to the feasibility (internal and from partners), pricing, and potential total project revenue in CRM software to track possible projects.
Interacts with Project Managers to share project information as clearly as possible; updates CRM Software to reflect projects that were successfully won;
Utilizes and exhausts all resources before turning down a project, whilst ensuring that projects that cannot be supported are communicated and approached effectively.
Undergraduate degree in Market Research preferred, but not required
Must be knowledgeable in MS Office suite
Must be proficient in Internet navigation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Professional phone presence coupled with exceptional customer service skills.
